GED High School Equivalency Websites

Here are more than a dozen websites to help you study for and practice for the tests of GED - General Educational Development, also often referred to as General Education Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma or degree. 

A high school diploma or its equivalent is required for most kinds of jobs or college admission.  If you have not completed high school or received a diploma, you can study and take a series of GED tests to a high school equivalency diploma or certificate. 

Each state sets its own requirements for this diploma or certificate.  Many state and non-profit organizations offer free courses to study for the GED tests.  There are also free online courses described below.  You must take the GED tests at a state-approved facility, and there is usually a cost for the tests.  To find the specific requirements to obtain a GED in your state, take a look at the Official State GED Websites .
