400 Years of the Telescope

400 Years of the Telescope is a film about the history of the telescope, with accompanying lesson themes for astronomy teachers and students.  The themes start with Galileo, the development of telescope technology, photography, observatories, Hubble's work, telescopes that collect radio waves, and the future of telescope technology.

The websites has excerpts from the film, aired on PBS, which features leading astrophysicists and cosmologists around the world.
