HTH staff have created an amazing Planning Guide for Teachers on Integrating Units. This planning guide offers teachers a method for working together to plan cross-curricular integrated units of study, with real-world application. It incorporates the design principles of personalization, real life connection, and common intellectual mission. It is based on HTH projects that cut across subject area boundaries, and integrate curriculum planning.
HTH project-based school programs have expanded in the past several years to encompass more than a dozen elementary, middle, and high schools throughout San Diego County, California. Their most recent publication, Changing the Subject, provides detailed lesson plans for 50 of their projects.
