Library of Congress Lesson Plans

The Library of Congress offers dozens of teacher-created, classroom tested lesson plans for K-12 students in social studies, using primary sources from LOC. Most lessons are for grades 6-12, and encompass studies in the areas of US and world history, government, law, politics, immigration, cultural heritage, and oral histories. Other classroom materials available on the site include primary source sets, presentations, activities, and themed resources.
