MedMyst is an interactive, learning adventure. In this futuristic world, you will help solve medical mysteries in infectious diseases. For this problem-based adventure game, students play the the role of scientist, historian, and detective. There are seven missions, each with its own learning objectives. Students use knowledge gained from each mission to help them understand how infectious diseases are spread, prevented and treated.
Rice University also provides the Germ Blaster app for iPhone/iPad. In this free app, kids shoot down pathogens by using the correct medical weapons.
